Egyptian kleems are unique wool area rugs that have been made for centuries in a rural region of the Nile Delta. The wool comes from a special type of sheep raised in the desert of Upper Egypt. The wool fibers are thick and long, which produce a strong yarn that withstands constant wear. The Nile Trading Company offers a collection of 10 designs in five standard sizes (4'x6' through 9'x12') that can be custom colored from a selection of 63 beautiful colors. The colors are available in woven sample sets. Rugs can also be made to original design specifications in any size up to 13' wide.
